The research work with
Professor Manousiothakisinvolves theoritical and computational modelling of design processes,
plasma simulation and optimization.
The process design and simulation processes are performed on state-of-the art comutational engines.
The Laboratory is presently equipped with the following workstations :
Two Digital 3000 300X workstations each with 64MB RAM.
One Digital 3000 M600 workstation each with 64MB RAM.
Five DEC 250 4/ 266 MHz AlphaStations, 192MB, 128MB and 64MB RAM.
Two DEC Alpha 500 / 333 MHz Workstations each with 256 MB RAM
One DEC Alpha 500 / 466 MHz Personal Workstation with 256 MB RAM
One Power Macintosh 6100 / 66
One Power Macintosh 7100 / 80
The machines and the printers in the laboratory are maintained by Stevan Wilson.
He also does all the trouble shooting.
