Hello, my name is Hyung-jun Kim and this is my third year for Ph.D in the
department of MS&E at UCLA. I'm from South Korea and love UCLA, my
department people and research, even the weather of Los Angeles.

I received my Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering at
SungKyunKwan University in Korea and to "pursued the master's degree at the
same department for the technique of surface treatment by hard coating and
plasma.
My current research interests include the fabrication of self-assembled
quantum dots by MBE system and their uniform size and distribution. I hope
that is realized in the near future and contributes positively to the
scientific community.
